Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, including at least 1 year in a cath lab setting, with on-call responsibilities and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting with a 212-bed facility
• Assigned to the Cath Lab unit
• Procedures include diagnostic cardiac catheterization, cardiac stent placement, circulating procedures, and right and left heart catheterization
• 4x10 day shift schedule, 7:00–17:30
• Weekends may exceed every other weekend based on unit needs
• On-call required: weeknights 17:30–07:00 and weekends (Friday 17:30 through Monday 07:00)
• Charting via Epic (experience required)
• Float between all facilities within the state may be required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Minimum 1 year of cath lab experience required (hard requirement)
• Epic EMR experience required
• First-time travelers will not be considered
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of total employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• RNs wear navy blue scrubs
• Free parking available on site
• Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted
• Former permanent employees must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Travelers who refuse to float between facilities within the state may face assignment termination
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission; minimal RTO is strongly preferred
• Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be accommodated
