Mechanical Assembler Fluid-Handling Components

This role focuses on building, testing, and preparing fluid-handling components and systems used in industrial applications. You will assemble mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies, follow detailed engineering drawings and standardized work instructions, and ensure all products meet quality and safety standards in a fast-paced, climate-controlled production environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components, fittings, hoses, and sub-assemblies according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
• Build and prepare fluid-handling components and systems for industrial applications following standardized work instructions.
• Inspect parts and assemblies for accuracy, defects, and proper fit, ensuring all work meets quality and safety requirements.
• Document inspection results clearly and accurately, and report any issues or nonconformances to the appropriate personnel.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, crimpers, and measurement devices safely and efficiently during assembly and testing.
• Perform mechanical assembly and basic electrical assembly tasks as needed to complete production orders.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with production and safety guidelines.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment to meet daily output and quality targets.
• Follow all standardized work procedures and contribute to continuous improvement of assembly processes.

Essential Skills

• Proven mechanical aptitude with experience in mechanical assembly in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to assemble components accurately.
• Hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks.
• Ability to operate crimpers and measurement devices safely and correctly.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, quality, and proper fit of parts and assemblies.
• Capability to follow standardized work instructions and production procedures in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic experience with electrical assembly tasks or willingness to learn.
• Strong documentation skills to record inspection results and communicate issues clearly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience assembling fluid-handling components, hoses, or fittings is highly beneficial.
• Prior work in a production or manufacturing setting with exposure to industrial applications.
• Comfort working on a 1st shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a production team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in all tasks.

Work Environment

This position is based in a climate-controlled production facility, providing a clean and comfortable work setting. The role follows a 1st shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., supporting predictable work hours and work-life balance. You will regularly use hand tools, power tools, crimpers, and measurement devices to perform mechanical and electrical assembly tasks. The environment is fast-paced and production-focused, with an emphasis on safety, adherence to standardized work instructions, and maintaining an organized workspace. Attire is typical for a manufacturing setting, with appropriate work clothing and any required protective equipment provided or specified by the employer.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
