Operational Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Operational Support Specialist to provide L2-level support, shadow existing processes, and eventually assume critical operational responsibilities to ensure business continuity.


Key Responsibilities:

• Shadow and learn operational processes to ensure a seamless transition of responsibilities.
• Provide L2-level support for infrastructure, including VMware, SQL Server, and MySQL environments.
• Troubleshoot and support application integrations using APIs, JSON, and XML.
• Perform intermediate networking, database, and desktop support tasks (e.g., resolving connectivity, query, or user access issues).
• Proactively identify and resolve operational issues, contributing to process improvements.
• Maintain and update documentation to support operational continuity.

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience in IT operations or technical support, focusing on infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on experience with VMware (e.g., vSphere, ESXi), SQL Server, and MySQL.
• Practical knowledge of APIs, JSON, and XML for application integration.
• Demonstrated experience in basic networking (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), database support, and desktop support.
• Familiarity with AWS (e.g., EC2, S3) or Azure (e.g., Virtual Machines) for basic cloud support tasks.
• Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a willingness to be mentored.
