Medical Assistant needed for a Podiatry office in Midtown East

We are seeking a reliable, professional Medical Assistant for a primarily back-office/clinical position in our Midtown East podiatry practice. This is a full-time position (4 days/week – 35 hours) in a well-established, modern office.

This is not a front-desk position. The primary focus is assisting the physician with patient care, patient flow, and day-to-day clinical responsibilities. Some basic front-office support may be needed when necessary.

This is a long-term opportunity for someone who wants to become part of the practice and grow with us, not a temporary position.

Schedule:

Monday – Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Primary Responsibilities:

• Room patients and prepare them for examination and treatment
• Assist the physician during patient visits and procedures
• Clean, disinfect, and prepare exam rooms between patients
• Assist patients with shoes and socks as needed
• Help maintain an organized, efficient clinical/back-office environment
• Perform basic clinical and administrative data entry
• Provide occasional phone and scheduling support as needed

Please note: No billing responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Medical Assistant certification required
• Some healthcare experience required
• Professional, dependable, and patient-focused
• Comfortable working directly with patients in a hands-on clinical setting
• Willingness to learn; podiatry-specific training will be provided
• Must be able to pass a background check

Compensation:

$20/hour
