Now Hiring: 1st Shift and 3rd Shift MIG Welders

Are you an experienced MIG Welder looking for a stable opportunity with a growing manufacturing company? We are seeking skilled welders to join our team on both 1st and 3rd shift . Hourly pay is anywhere from $20.00 - $28.75 an hour depending on shift and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on carbon steel and steel components.

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and weld symbols.

• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.

• Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.

• Grind, clean, and prepare materials prior to welding.

• Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to meet daily goals.

• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.

• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a production setting.

• Welding certification is preferred but not required.

• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Schedule

1st Shift: Monday-Friday, Day Shift

3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday, Overnight Shift

Overtime may be available based on production needs.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Machesney Park, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
