Pay

$20.00 - $28.75 per hour

Pay is based on experience, skill level, and shift.

What You'll Do

• Perform MIG welding on carbon steel components and assemblies

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and weld symbols

• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently

• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and accuracy

• Grind, clean, and prepare materials before and after welding

• Work closely with production and quality teams to meet manufacturing goals

• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

What We're Looking For

✅ Previous MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment

✅ Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools

✅ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

✅ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a production setting

✅ Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications

• Welding certification is a plus, but not required

• Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Schedule

1st Shift

Monday - Friday | Day Shift

3rd Shift

Sunday - Thursday | Overnight Shift

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Machesney Park, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
