Fabricator : Rockford , Illinois
Our customer in Rockford, Illinois, is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Fabricators to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for precision fabrication, welding, and assembly of metal components while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities of the Fabricator :
- Independently interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders with minimal direction
- Cut, fit, and assemble metal components to tight tolerances using saws, drills, and grinders
- Perform MIG/TIG welding and self-inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
- Identify issues early, problem-solve on the floor, and keep production moving
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace while upholding shop standards
Fabricator Requirements and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands-on fabrication experience
- Strong blueprint reading and layout skills
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- MIG/TIG welding experience strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Pay for Fabricator : Starting at $18/hour, based on experience.
