About the Role
We are seeking a safety-conscious Equipment Operator to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for moving, storing, and shipping goods efficiently within a warehouse environment using various material handling equipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced setting, and committed to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up reach forklifts, dock loaders, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring goods are properly placed and secured with shrink wrap or similar materials.
• Build pallets and perform pallet pulls for inventory management and shipment preparation.
• Scan and track inventory using RF scanning equipment, maintaining accurate stock records.
• Check freight for accuracy and damages, and report safety hazards or faults to supervisors.
• Ensure loads are properly centered and stacked according to safety standards.
• Document the arrival, departure, and movement of goods, maintaining accurate warehouse records.
• Direct product flow to correct warehouse areas and organize workspaces by removing debris and sweeping as needed.
• Follow all safety regulations and company guidelines at all times.
• Perform additional duties including evaluation of production schedules for timely transportation and fulfillment.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months' experience working in warehouse or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to operate reach trucks, stand-up forklifts, dock loaders, and pallet jacks.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanning equipment.
• Ability to read numbers and labels accurately.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs frequently.
• Ability to work overtime, including days, evenings, and weekends.
• Basic understanding of safety procedures, including load stacking and securing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification to operate reach forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Experience working in fast-paced environments with attention to detail.
• Prior experience with RF scanning equipment and inventory documentation.
