PeopleShare is hiring experienced Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operators for a leading distribution facility in Romeoville, IL. We are seeking dependable warehouse professionals with experience operating material handling equipment and supporting shipping, receiving, inventory, and order fulfillment operations. Job Responsibilities As a Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely moving inventory throughout the warehouse while supporting daily distribution operations. Duties Include: Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers Operate warehouse equipment, including: Reach Truck (Required) Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) (Required) Cherry Picker / Order Picker Stand-Up Forklift (Preferred) Turret Truck (Strong Plus) Pick, pack, stage, and replenish inventory Build and wrap pallets for shipment Receive incoming product and verify quantities Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) Print and apply shipping labels Complete shipping and receiving documentation Perform inventory transactions and maintain inventory accuracy Inspect products and equipment for quality and safety compliance Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse standards Qualifications Previous shipping and receiving experience required Experience operating Reach Truck and EPJ required Cherry Picker / Order Picker experience preferred Stand-Up Forklift experience preferred Turret Truck experience a plus Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems Strong inventory control and material handling experience Ability to work independently and within a team environment Strong attention to detail and safety Reliable attendance and strong work ethic High School Diploma or GED preferred Why You’ll Love This Opportunity Competitive pay: $20.00-$21.50/hour Multiple shifts available Weekly pay Monday-Friday schedule Temp-to-hire opportunity Opportunity to expand equipment operation skills Stable and growing company Career advancement potential Team-oriented warehouse environment Why Work With PeopleShare?
