Due to continued growth, we are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support our team in the Brandon/Riverview area.Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support the successful execution of civil construction projects. This role works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams to help manage project schedules, budgets, documentation, and communication. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and looking to grow into a Project Manager role.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist Project Managers in coordinating all phases of civil construction projectsSupport project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocationHelp manage subcontractors, vendors, and purchase ordersAssist with colored details and takeoffsTrack project progress and help ensure timelines and budgets are metCoordinate with field superintendents and crews to support operationsMaintain accurate and up-to-date project documentationAssist with invoicing, change orders, and cost trackingCommunicate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teamsHelp identify project risks and assist in implementing solutionsEnsure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company policiesParticipate in job site visits as neededAssist with RFIs, submittals, and tracking project approvalsSupport coordination with local agencies and inspectors (FDOT, County, Utilities)Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred1+ years of experience in civil construction or related roleBasic understanding of construction methods, materials, and processesAbility to read and interpret construction plans and specificationsStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Experience with Bluebeam and project management software preferredAbility to manage multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environmentJob DetailsJob Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person (Riverview, FL)Schedule: Monday to Friday, weekends as neededBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insuranceVision insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr
