Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Full Time in Marietta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related situations with professionalism. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $27.03 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate for an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site protocols. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor and control access to sensitive areas by verifying credentials, observing visitor activity, and documenting entry and exit activity. Prepare clear, accurate reports for incidents, patrol observations, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree. Possess an armed guard card or license. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. Handcuffing certification is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
