About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Marketing to take on a pivotal role in shaping the brand's presence in the mental health space, particularly in the context of young adult well-being. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and evolving the market narrative, positioning, and voice, with a focus on payers, public sector partners, and the broader young adult community. This role involves building a comprehensive growth engine for B2B and B2G, including content, campaigns, and events, to drive awareness and create a qualified pipeline. The VP of Marketing will also be tasked with developing thought leadership, managing PR, and creating sales enablement tools to support the commercial teams. As the first senior marketing hire, the role requires a hands-on approach to content and campaign creation, as well as the ability to make strategic decisions about in-house versus external resources as the company scales. The ideal candidate will have 7-14 years' of experience in B2B marketing, with a strong background in health insurance, healthcare services, or related fields. A proven track record of transforming a lesser-known brand into a recognized player among enterprise buyers is essential, as is experience in a high-growth, venture-backed environment. The role demands a leader who can balance brand and performance, is adept at demand generation for long sales cycles, and is comfortable with experimentation and data-driven decision-making. The VP of Marketing should be a builder at heart, capable of translating complex, emotionally sensitive products into compelling narratives, and thriving in dynamic, high-growth settings where adaptability is key.
