About the Opportunity
The Benefits Coordinator will support the day-to-day administration of employee benefits, with a primary focus on open enrollment and leave administration . This role will serve as a resource for employees, answering questions and helping them navigate their benefits and leave programs. The ideal candidate will have previous benefits experience and be comfortable working directly with employees.
Benefits Coordinator Responsibilities

• Coordinate the annual open enrollment process, including employee communications, enrollment changes, and follow-up.
  
  
• Administer employee leaves, including tracking leave balances, documentation, and applicable deadlines.
  
  
• The Benefits Coordinator will serve as a primary point of contact for employees with questions regarding benefits and leave programs.
  
  
• Assist employees with benefit enrollments, qualifying life events, and coverage changes.
  
  
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee benefits and leave records.
  
  
• Work with benefits providers and internal departments to resolve enrollment and coverage issues.
  
  
• The Benefits Coordinator will enter and maintain benefits information within Paylocity.
  
  
• Assist with benefit-related reporting, reconciliations, and special projects as needed.
  
  
• Provide friendly, responsive customer service to employees and ensure questions and concerns are addressed promptly.
  
  

Qualifications of the Benefits Coordinator Role

• Previous experience in employee benefits administration preferred.
  
  
• Experience with open enrollment and/or leave administration strongly preferred.
  
  
• Experience with Paylocity is a plus, but not required.
  
  
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
  
  
• Comfortable working directly with employees and answering benefits-related questions.
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential information.
  
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  
  
• Must be willing and available to work Eastern Time hours .
