As an Accounts Payable Analyst in our Finance function within the Spine division, you’ll play a key role in troubleshooting invoices, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring timely and accurate payments — supporting strong financial operations and vendor relationships. What You’ll Do: Process invoices accurately and efficiently throughout the month Perform root cause analysis to resolve invoice discrepancies and identify process improvement opportunities Research and resolve aged Goods Receipts Not Invoiced (GRNI) items Monitor and respond to inquiries from suppliers and internal customers Review high‑risk payments to ensure adequate support and documentation Maintain ERP master data and ensure data accuracy Liaise with buyers, requestors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to resolve critical issues preventing payment Prepare weekly and monthly reports on problem queue invoicing and aging analysis Maintain documentation to support AP transactions for efficient audit and review Execute the 1099 reporting process and associated activities Assist with month‑end AP close activities Collaborate with team members and serve as backup when needed Comply with all internal control procedures to ensure accurate financial records What You Bring: Associate’s degree in Finance, Business, or equivalent relevant experience 3+ years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable Experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred) Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues General knowledge of collections practices and customer negotiations Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Fluent in English (written and verbal) Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively Why VB Spine? Compensation: Pay for this role is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and performance. The typical pay range for this position is $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 annually, with potential for bonuses and incentives plus benefits. Final compensation is determined on a case‑by‑case basis and considers a variety of factors including experience level, skillset, and market conditions.
