You will provide strategic direction, advanced engineering expertise, and leadership in improving plant performance, safety, and operational efficiency within a regulated fuel production environment.You will report to the Electrical Engineering Manager and be located at our Columbia Fuel Fabrication Facility in Columbia, SC. This role requires onsite presence 5 days per week.Key Responsibilities:Be a SME for instrumentation, control systems, electrical systems, and automation architectureLead development of advanced control and electrical system strategiesOversee Distributed Control Systems, Programmable Logic Controllers, SCADA, electrical distribution systems, and safety instrumented systemsImprove programs for process efficiency, power reliability, and asset performanceAnalyze process and electrical system data to implement corrective actionsSupport troubleshooting of complex process, control system, and electrical issuesLead capital projects including electrical infrastructure, instrumentation, and control system integrationEnsure compliance with safety, electrical codes, and regulatory requirementsSupport PSM activities including HAZOP, electrical hazard analysis, and MOC processesMentor junior engineers across instrumentation, controls, and electrical disciplinesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field10+ years of industrial or manufacturing experience·Expertise in instrumentation, controls, and power systemsExperience with DCS/PLC platformsKnowledge of electrical distribution systems and process control principlesWe are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices.
