Principal Engineer - Variant Configuration

You will troubleshoot and resolve configuration-related issues and improve VC models for performance and usability. You will create SAP Bills of Material to support planning, manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering functions. You will also support system upgrades, testing, and deployments and ensure SAP master data integrity, quality, compliance, and consistency.You will report to the Product Data Management Lead and work remotely.Key Responsibilities:Support SAP Variant Configuration processesProcess engineering change notices in the SAP BoM databaseOriginate supporting documentation to meet internal and external customer requirementsValue the prevention of errors using human performance tools and independent verificationVerify the work of peers and provide technical guidance, training, and direction to othersLead project teams, including Master Data Management teamsManage SAP Material Master data activities, such as routine maintenance and data cleansing effortsImplement master data setup, validations, and maintenance following business procedures, processes, and work instructionsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline5+ years of experienceSAP Variant Configuration experience requiredHelpful:Experience creating SAP BoM modelsExperience leading cross-functional teamsExperience supporting SAP system upgradesKnowledge of overall design of Pressurized Water Reactors (PWR)Interpret and document complex business processesExperience with Power BIWe are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices.
