A day in this role

You arrive to a clean, organized cell and review the production plan. You load tools, verify work offsets, and bring a new job online. Throughout the shift, you keep parts on spec, work with engineering to tighten processes, and keep the machine in peak condition.

• Set up and run 5-axis CNC equipment to manufacture intricate parts and assemblies.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to machine features accurately.
• Conduct routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to sustain optimal machine performance.
• Watch the cut, adjust feeds, speeds, and offsets to protect quality and repeatability.
• Partner with engineers and peers to refine processes and boost throughput.
• Maintain an orderly, safe workstation and follow all safety best practices.
• Record production data and promptly escalate issues to leadership.

What you’ll bring

• Hands-on experience machining on 5-axis CNC platforms.
• Solid grasp of CNC programming concepts and G-code.
• Fluency in reading technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience with precision metrology tools and standard quality checks.
• Sharp problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Clear communicator and collaborative teammate.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
