Bring your expertise as an Occupational Therapist to a dynamic school-based setting near San Jose, CA, where you’ll support students in maximizing their potential within educational environments. This is an onsite, full-time contract opportunity, starting as soon as possible and continuing through June 11th. You will work directly with students at multiple locations, offering critical therapy services and collaborating closely with educators and families.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for licensing in California per the California Occupational Therapy Practice Act
• Minimum of two years’ clinical experience in pediatric therapy with a strong focus on developmental disabilities
• Demonstrated experience within educational settings is highly preferred
• Track record of successful collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and families
• Dedicated to working onsite at designated school locations (not open to virtual or hybrid arrangements)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to address sensory, fine motor, and self-care skills
• Deliver direct occupational therapy interventions in accordance with students’ IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student participation and success within the school setting
• Maintain detailed documentation and adhere to compliance requirements as outlined by state and district guidelines
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights toward student progress and program development
