Details Work in the Cardiovascular ICU of a hospital setting Care for critically ill cardiovascular patients including post open heart recovery day 2 patients Requires experience with Impella, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), CRRT, and ECMO Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours weekly Requirements Active RN license issued by Oklahoma or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC) Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required Experience with Impella, balloon pump, and heart recovery required Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, and techniques Strong verbal and written communication skills Additional Information Provide direct nursing care to an assigned group of cardiovascular ICU patients Administer medications, monitor IV infusions and blood products, and document patient responses to treatment Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures Communicate care plans with patients and families, including discharge information Delegate tasks to support staff as needed Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered Facility strictly enforces compliance deadlines, and candidates must be prepared to complete onboarding requirements promptly Returning workers may only extend a contract once for a total of 26 weeks, and must have a 6-month separation before applying again American Traveler Job ID P-750553.
