Details Work in the Medical ICU of a hospital setting Care for patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex Night shift schedule of 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours per week Trauma experience required and travel eligibility required Requirements Active RN license (Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or multistate compact eNLC) Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required Associate's Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures Strong verbal and written communication skills Basic computer skills Additional Information Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients and deliver competent nursing care Document patient responses to nursing interventions and monitor changes in physician orders Assist physicians with examinations, minor diagnostic procedures, and treatments Administer prescribed medications and manage IV infusions and blood products Communicate care plans with patients and families throughout hospitalization and at discharge Delegate tasks to support staff as needed Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible Returning travelers may extend a contract only once for a maximum of 26 weeks, requiring a 6-month separation before reapplying Facility enforces strict compliance deadlines and does not allow push starts once booked American Traveler Job ID P-749836.
