Details Cardiovascular ICU unit within a hospital setting Days shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week) Candidates must have experience with Impella, balloon pump (IABP), and heart recovery care Proficiency required in CRRT, post open heart day 2 care, and ECMO Requirements Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC) Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required; BSN preferred Strong knowledge of nursing theory, practices, and techniques Effective verbal and written communication skills Additional Information Provide direct nursing care to a variety of cardiovascular ICU patients with complex health needs Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures Administer medications and manage IV infusions and blood products Communicate care plans with patients and families, including discharge planning Delegate tasks to support staff as needed Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible Facility enforces strict compliance deadlines; onboarding requirements must be completed promptly Travelers may extend only once for a total of 26 weeks, requiring a 6-month separation before reapplying American Traveler Job ID P-750375.
