Human Resources (HR) Manager

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to support divisional operations in Stockton, California. This Long-term Contract position will lead core HR initiatives across employee support, talent programs, compliance, and policy administration while acting as a trusted partner to leadership. The role requires someone who can balance day-to-day human resources execution with strategic guidance that strengthens workforce effectiveness and organizational accountability.Responsibilities:• Direct full-cycle talent activities, including recruiting, onboarding, training coordination, compensation support, and benefits administration.• Provide guidance on sensitive employee matters by addressing performance concerns, workplace issues, corrective action, and separation processes with professionalism and consistency.• Interpret and apply employment laws and workplace regulations to help ensure divisional practices remain compliant with federal, state, and local requirements.• Partner with operational leaders to offer practical advice on HR policies, workforce planning, performance management, and employee engagement strategies.• Oversee the accuracy and confidentiality of personnel files, HR documentation, and system records while supporting reliable data management practices.• Prepare and analyze HR reports and workforce metrics to help leadership make informed decisions related to staffing, retention, and organizational trends.• Support administration of HR programs and procedures to promote consistency, efficiency, and alignment with business objectives.• Contribute to continuous improvement of human resources processes and tools, including effective use of HRIS platforms and onboarding workflows.
