Job Title: HR Coordinator

Location: Sacramento, CA (onsite)

Employment Type: Contract (ongoing)

Pay Rate: $20–$25/hour

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Coordinator to support day-to-day human resources operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys supporting employees, and is looking to grow within HR.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding, including new hire paperwork, orientations, and compliance documentation
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records within HR systems
• Support recruitment coordination (job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling)
• Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and general questions
• Process employee status changes, including new hires, terminations, and updates
• Support HR projects such as audits, reporting, and compliance tracking
• Assist with employee engagement initiatives, trainings, and internal events
• Prepare HR-related documents, reports, and communications as needed

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of administrative or HR experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a busy environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience with HRIS systems is a plus
