Travel Physical Therapist - Kilgore, TX

Join an established inpatient rehabilitation team in Kilgore, TX, as a skilled Physical Therapist. This travel opportunity offers a chance to apply your expertise in a hospital setting focused on improving patient mobility and quality of life.


Responsibilities include:

• Assessing patients to develop individualized treatment plans
• Implementing therapeutic interventions to reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
• Educating patients on managing conditions and promoting long-term wellness
• Utilizing EMR systems, preferably MedHost, for documentation and care coordination
• Adhering to facility policies and maintaining professional standards

Desired Qualifications:

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current Texas physical therapy licensure
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum of 2 years' PT experience, with at least 1 year in inpatient rehab
• Competency in EMR systems, MedHost preferred
• Ability to float within the department; no on-call duties required
• Professional appearance including wearing solid color scrubs

Schedule:

• Day shift, 9 AM to 6 PM

This assignment requires candidates who reside more than 50 miles from the facility. New graduates and LPTAs will not be considered.
