Weekend CNA

Role: Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) providing home care services. Responsibilities Include Providing direct patient care, including personal hygiene, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation. Assisting with prescribed exercises and basic nursing care under supervision. Preparing meals considering client preferences and dietary needs. Offering companionship and engaging in activities tailored to individual interests. Performing light housekeeping duties and maintaining accurate records. Monitoring and reporting changes in clients' physical or psychosocial conditions. Utilizing EVV systems for task documentation and adhering to the care plan. Ensuring patient confidentiality, respecting rights, and reporting any abuse or neglect. Supporting client independence within their abilities and following all safety protocols. Qualifications & Skills Active certification with DFS. High school diploma or GED preferred. Effective communication skills, ability to read, write, and follow directions. Physical capability to perform tasks including lifting (up to 50 lbs.), bending, and standing. Sympathetic attitude toward patient care and a commitment to high-quality service.
