Trails Physical Therapy, LLC is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) to join our dynamic team at our rehabilitation facility located in Lincroft, New Jersey. As a critical member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in improving the well-being of our patients through personalized treatment plans and expert care.

Work Environment

Our rehabilitation facility is equipped with state-of-the-art resources to support our physical therapy team in delivering high-quality care. In this full-time, onsite role, you will collaborate alongside a diverse group of healthcare professionals including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and rehabilitation specialists. With a regular work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, you'll find a balanced work life while focusing on the rehabilitation needs of a varied patient base.

Key Responsibilities

As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, your daily activities will include:

• Conducting thorough examinations and evaluations of patients to develop tailored treatment plans for those facing functional limitations and disabilities.
• Staying informed on relevant state practice acts to practice within legal frameworks and supervise appropriately.
• Performing comprehensive evaluations by reviewing patient history, conducting physical assessments, and documenting recommendations effectively.
• Applying treatment protocols proficiently based on evaluation outcomes, ensuring care aligns with each patient's unique health status.
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to adapt treatment plans when necessary, especially when patient conditions evolve.
• Managing discharge planning and follow-up care, while meticulously documenting all patient interactions and therapy sessions to provide a clear record of progress.
• Completing all mandatory training and remaining in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding physical therapy practices.
• Execute daily treatment plans effectively, ensuring high-quality patient care while maximizing departmental productivity.
• Engaging in professional conferences, in-services, and team meetings to continuously enhance your knowledge and skill set.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will revolve around a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports-related injuries, chronic pain conditions, and other debilitating ailments. By employing evidence-based treatment strategies, you will assist our patients in regaining strength, mobility, and independence to improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited PT program.
• A valid physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• Minimum of two years of relevant post-graduate clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification to ensure safety and compliance.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling you to foster strong relationships with patients and staff alike.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with additional experience in digital health solutions or personal training will be highly regarded. Your ability to quickly establish rapport and effectively communicate treatment goals will contribute significantly to patient success.
