Paid time off is earned according to the local policy and increases with the length of employment.Click HERE to discover how we empower team members to grow, thrive, and advance in their careers.We Love Our Work.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAdditional responsibilities may be assigned as needed:Directs operations and staff of Finance, including Accounts Receivables, General Ledger, Revenue Audit, and Count RoomDevelops, implements, and manages operational goals, monitoring performance and profit objectivesOversees scheduling for both departments to optimize labor costs, meet staffing needs, and achieve deadlinesPrepares, monitors, and ensures adherence to departmental budgets, reporting concerns to Executive Management or General ManagerDevelops and documents the Accounting System of Internal Control to ensure regulatory compliancePlans and executes efficient accounting and financial reporting systems for internal and external reporting, including SEC, IRS, and state agenciesEnsures compliance with regulatory requirements for Accounting System of Internal ControlsCreates and maintains internal reporting processes for management decision-makingProposes and implements plans to improve operating efficiencyBuilds and maintains a qualified team to support financial reporting and internal control complianceMaintains current knowledge of GAAP, SEC, IRS, Department of Revenue, and Nevada Gaming Control Board regulationsEnsures regulatory compliance and reports potential issues to Executive Management or General ManagerMaintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company mattersOversees staff development and training programs for Finance and Count TeamImplements employee recognition programs to enhance engagementEvaluates team performance and provides constructive feedbackManages staffing decisions including interviewing, hiring, scheduling, and assigning workEstablishes work procedures and streamlines workflow for both departmentsOversees employee performance management including coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actionsBring Us Your Best.Qualification RequirementsMust be at least 21 years of ageBachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university; MBA or CPA preferred but not requiredMinimum of seven years' experience in Accounting, Audit, or Finance; gaming industry experience preferredProficient in Microsoft Excel, Access, and WordFamiliarity with Oracle, Coupa, Salesforce, Oasis, COGNOS, SQL, CRM, CDS, ACES, and other data processing systems preferredSkilled in formal communication and presentations to executive leadershipBroad knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysisAdvanced Excel skills and experience in financial modelingExperience with computer report writing software highly desirableCapable of operating in a highly confidential environmentStrong interpersonal and analytical skills for handling diverse situationsCertificates, Licenses, RegistrationsMust qualify for all licensing and permit requirements as mandated by federal, state, and local regulationsStay In The Game.
