The Opportunity: Growth, Support, and Specialization :

Are you looking to transition into the private practice world without the "solo" isolation or administrative headache or move from an existing practice to find a practice that better meet your needs with an encouraging environment? CCA may be the practice for you! We are seeking a LMFT, LCMHC, LCAS or LCSW with at least 1-year post-licensure experience, to join our team full-time.

We are currently seeing a significant surge in clients seeking support for sex addiction/infidelity, betrayal trauma, PTSD Clients utilizing EMDR and other trauma-informed therapies, women’s and men’s issues, and distressed couples. This role allows you to specialize in high-impact clinical work while enjoying the stability of a W2 position .

Candidate must have a minimum of (2) years of direct addictions/substance use disorders, mental health and trauma therapy experience. Candidates with couples therapy experience will be given more consideration.

Compensation & Perks

• · Competitive Hourly Pay: Enjoy an attractive clinical hourly pay structure designed to reward your hard work and expertise. Administrative pay is included as well for non-clinical hours.

• Schedule: Working up to full-time hours (24+ direct clinical hours per week) with hybrid options (online and in-office).

• Paid CEU training : First CSAT module (Certified Sex Addiction Therapist) training paid for by the practice-$1,500). Receive additional annual reimbursement stipend for training after six months.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert therapy for individuals and couples, with a focus on trauma, infidelity, addictions (including porn/sex addiction), and women’s and men’s issues (anxiety, depression, life stressors etc.)
• Facilitate group therapy sessions as needed.
• Receive support to maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation via our EHR and HIPPA-compliant A.I. note taking system. ( Progress (Soap) notes to be completed within 48 business hours of the client session ).
• Collaborate with the clinical team during bi-weekly meetings to ensure high-quality care (paid at the admin rate).
• Attending and participating in networking events (paid at the admin rate).

Qualifications

• Licensing: Must be a Licensed (LMFT, LCMHC, LCAS) in North Carolina. Candidates with dual licensure and licensure in South Carolina are highly preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of (1) year of post-graduate experience in mental health, addictions, EMDR or (other Trauma-informed therapies). Couples therapy experience is preferred.

David started his practice, Charlotte Counseling Associates, October of 2014. David practiced solo in Ballantyne, NC, but soon felt the motivation to grow his practice.

In 2017, Charlotte Counseling Associates PLLC, moved to a larger location in beautiful South Park on Fairview Rd. By 2018, he remembered his vision to create a group practice as there was a deep need in the community and he wanted to work alongside intelligent and talented therapist professionals. He then made the exciting decision to transition to a group practice and began hiring associates to work alongside him in this office, who all worked together with the mission and vision of helping those struggling with sex addiction, betrayal trauma, couples' communication and reconciliation, complex trauma, men’s and women’s issues and more.
