Executive Director Portfolio Management for Corporate

The Executive Director, Portfolio Management for Corporate , Product Delivery Service, is responsible for the software development program supporting all IT software development activities in support of enterprise software development programs and Enterprise-wide IT projects. The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing and facilitating a program of solution and application software development as part of the VA-wide initiatives. Location is negotiable after selection. This position is not remote and will work out of a Department of Veterans Affairs' owned or leased facility. Defines clear critical success factors for key enterprise-wide IT project management process areas and associated key performance indicators and metrics. Management of staffing, budgeting, development, design, security and integration of multi-site software application development operations; develop cost effective alternatives for application delivery for all enterprise software systems applications; provide ongoing staff professional training and development and strategic use of outside partners, including other government and commercial entities Develops software development policy, processing and procedure to govern systems software application development; develop procedures to ensure information application systems reliability and accessibility and to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to software application systems and data; Development and implementation of enterprise software applications that ensure that systems, network, and data users are aware of, understand, and adhere to systems security policies and procedures Provides technical direction in the conceptual analysis, design, development deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of large-scale, advanced technology applications projects; #J-18808-Ljbffr
