Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the CV PreOp unit is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures. You will collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure patient safety and comfort while performing necessary preoperative assessments and interventions.

Responsibilities

• Perform preoperative assessments and vital sign monitoring.
• Manage and administer medications and assist with procedures.
• Prepare patients for surgery, including skin prep and positioning.
• Transport patients to the operating room and assist during induction/intubation.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation in the electronic health record.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess a valid RN license.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• Must have CVOR experience with at least 2 travel assignments in the field.
• Critical care experience is essential; PreOp experience is a plus.
