Contracts Manager

Contracts Manager Irvine, CA | $130,000 – $160,000 | Full-Time | Onsite Join a well‑established global aerospace and defense manufacturer in Irvine as a key member of the Site Leadership Team. In this management role you will lead a team of contracts specialists and administrators supporting the largest site within the division – overseeing contract administration, backlog management, and customer experience across domestic and international commercial and military programs. What You'll Do Lead and manage a mid‑size team of contracts professionals; align goals, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and performance Guide the team in analyzing, interpreting, and researching critical contractual information and data Manage workload distribution across the team based on skill level, complexity, and capacity Oversee and approve task planning, resource requirements, and effort estimates on assigned contracts Conduct contract risk management reviews; recommend strategies to mitigate risk Manage the change control process in conjunction with the Site Business Team Investigate and resolve compliance problems; respond to customer, regulatory, and internal inquiries Develop and mentor team members; champion professional certification and career development Serve as part of the Site Leadership Team and interface regularly with Division leadership and external stakeholders Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field 7+ years of related experience, with 2+ years in a team leadership role including direct supervision Master's degree or advanced contracts management certification required (may be waived with demonstrated management track record) Broad knowledge of contract management processes, contract types, and applicable regulations and laws Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and project management/database tools Why Join?
