Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation potential, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their needs.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address patients' unique recovery goals while incorporating advanced techniques in manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
• Monitor patient progress diligently by maintaining accurate records and adjusting treatment methods as necessary to enhance outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, including home exercise programs and strategies for injury prevention and lifestyle changes to optimize recovery.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and best practices to incorporate innovative treatment techniques into everyday patient care.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment approaches for all patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your patient population will include individuals recovering from various conditions such as orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological disorders, and chronic pain conditions. You will be expected to assess their specific needs and deliver targeted interventions that empower them to regain mobility, strength, and independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in physical therapy or related healthcare fields.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a rehabilitation facility or similar clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits
