Senior Product Manager | Retail

Shape the future of retail technology and help create long-lasting success for the businesses we serve. As a Senior Product Manager, you will help guide the direction and continued evolution of Epicor retail products, with a particular focus on Propello. You will partner across Product, Sales, Sales Engineering, and Development to understand market needs, identify product gaps, and translate those insights into clear roadmap and feature priorities. We are seeking applicants with strong retail industry knowledge, sound product judgment, and a business-minded approach to prioritization and growth.

What you will be doing:

• Partner with Product leadership to shape retail product direction, roadmap priorities, backlog decisions, pricing, strategy, and commercialization.
• Drive the continued growth and evolution of Propello by evaluating market opportunities, product-market fit, customer needs, and areas for product expansion.
• Evaluate and prioritize feature requests based on retail business needs, Sales demand, customer value, market opportunity, and overall business impact.
• Collaborate with Sales and Sales Engineering to identify product fit and gaps, translating market needs into actionable requirements for Product Owner, analyst, and Development teams.
• Support the evaluation of Eagle customers transitioning to Propello, identifying customer requirements, migration challenges, and product gaps that may influence adoption.
• Build a strong understanding of Epicor retail applications and clearly communicate how product capabilities solve customer and business challenges.
• Provide increasing product direction and influence across retail product pods and Product Owner teams, sharing market insight and helping teams make informed prioritization decisions.

What you will likely bring :

• Strong retail industry experience and broad knowledge of retail business needs, workflows, and market dynamics.
• Product management experience, including roadmap management, backlog prioritization, feature evaluation, and translating business needs into product direction.
• Strong business judgment, organizational skills, and the ability to make and clearly support difficult prioritization decisions based on market and business needs.
• Ability to understand software applications, connect product capabilities to business problems, and communicate those concepts effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience partnering across Product, Development, Sales, and Sales Engineering teams.
• Ability to succeed in a primarily internally focused product role while confidently engaging with customers when needed.

What could set you apart:

• Experience with retail software or software-as-a-service products, including product-market fit, new-market evaluation, pricing, or commercialization.
• Experience supporting product migrations or assessing gaps between legacy and next-generation software products.
• Experience partnering with Sales and Sales Engineering to translate customer and market demand into product priorities.
• External retail or product management experience that brings fresh ideas and additional market perspective.
• Practical familiarity with artificial intelligence tools and curiosity about using AI to improve product management workflows, research, analysis, and day-to-day efficiency.

Range:

Minimum: $105,000 USD Maximum: $178,000 USD

The salary range provided reflects the national average for this job title and does not represent compensation specific to Epicor Software Corporation. Actual compensation will vary based on experience, qualifications, and market factors relevant to the position.
