Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active OT licensure in Illinois and NBCOT certification required
• Prior experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication skills to effectively partner with teachers, families, and team members
• Flexible approach, comfortable working with varied student needs and age groups
• Ability to supervise and collaborate with a COTA
• Diligence with documentation and adherence to school and federal guidelines

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for elementary and high school students
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services per IEP requirements
• Collaborate with educators, staff, and parents to support students’ functional and academic needs
• Oversee and mentor the COTA, delegating tasks and ensuring effective support
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy outcomes
• Actively participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
