Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active Illinois SLP license (or eligibility in process)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
• Previous experience working with pediatric or school-based populations strongly preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Detail-oriented, compassionate, and committed to supporting student success

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
• Provide direct therapy services for students in both individual and group settings
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with staff and parents to share progress
• Document services, maintain accurate records, and complete required paperwork
• Serve as a resource and advocate for effective communication strategies in the classroom
• Support and mentor students throughout their developmental journey
