Admin Assistant II

Job Description The Administrative Assistant II will provide administrative and secretarial support to those in their assigned area. Key Responsibilities Maintains files for his or her area and may oversee other clerical work as needed. May assist with phones for the department as well as act as a liaison with other departments. May provide support to other jobsites as well as voucher invoices as necessary. Schedules appointments, meetings and travel. Will coordinate services such as maintenance, repairs, supplies, etc. for the assigned area. Will review, compose and answer correspondence as well as distribute mail accordingly. Minimum Job Requirements Construction experience preferred. High school graduate or equivalent education. Minimum of 3-4 years secretarial experience. Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs. Note: Job Description is subject to change at any time and may include other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis. Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures. Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis. Will interact with people and technology frequently during a shift/work day. Will lift, push or pull objects pounds on an occasional basis. Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/work day. Will use telephone, computer system, email, and other electronic devices on a frequent basis to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors.
