Area Manager Job Details
Pay Rate : $85,000-$90,000/year (Based on Experience)
Schedule : Full-Time, Salaried
Location : Hebron, Kentucky
Requirements of the Area Manager

• Previous experience leading supervisors and other people leaders in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  
• Experience overseeing multiple departments and large teams
  
• Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills
  
• Experience managing productivity, quality, safety, and performance metrics
  
• Ability to resolve employee relations issues and partner with HR on solutions
  
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and provide management coverage when needed
  
• Comfortable working in a high-volume distribution or warehouse environment
  
• Ability to perform basic math and analyze operational data
  

• Lead a team of 4-6 supervisors and up to 250 warehouse associates on assigned shift
  
• Drive productivity, quality, safety, and on-time shipping goals
  
• Partner with Operations Manager and support teams to achieve business objectives
  
• Promote a positive culture through active engagement with employees and leadership teams
  
• Assist General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and Operations Manager with daily operations
  
• Plan labor allocation and staffing levels based on daily volume and operational needs
  
• Facilitate communication between shifts to ensure operational consistency
  
• Provide direction and support to supervisors and department leads
  
• Track attendance and approve employee timecards
  
• Coach, train, and develop associates and leadership staff
  
• Address employee relations concerns and administer progressive discipline when necessary
  
• Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements to exceed goals
  
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
  
• Utilize warehouse management software to track operations and resolve issues
  
• Collaborate with management teams across departments to support business success
