Technical Project Manager (Data Operations) - Professional Services - Contract to Full Time

We are seeking a highly technical Technical Project Manager to support the delivery of our enterprise data platform built on Microsoft Fabric. In this role, you will work closely with Data Engineers, DBAs, Cloud Engineers, and Test Engineers to manage agile delivery, coordinate technical dependencies, and translate complex business requirements into detailed technical user stories. You will lead sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives while ensuring the engineering team remains focused on delivering high-quality platform solutions. The role requires strong technical understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and agile delivery practices. You will also help resolve blockers, coordinate production releases, and provide clear updates on delivery progress, risks, and platform stability. The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of experience in Technical Project Management, Agile Delivery, or Scrum leadership within data engineering, cloud, or software teams. Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure, SQL, Jira, Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD workflows is highly preferred. Candidates should be organized, technically fluent, adaptable, and confident working in fast-paced engineering environments. Preferred certifications include Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals (DP-900), Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600), and FinOps Certified Practitioner (FOCP).
