Our Company RetentionRx builds custom retention intelligence systems for enterprise clients in health and fitness. Small team, high output, doing work that has never been done before in this space. We didn't enter a category. We're building one. The Role RetentionRx is seeking a part-time Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to support podcast, magazine/blog, and media outlet outreach and content creation efforts. This position offers practical, hands‑on experience in social media management and marketing communications. Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational skills, initiative, and professional written communication. The Job Research and compile a target list of podcasts and magazines/blogs relevant to fitness, wellness, and business/entrepreneurship, identifying brands whose audiences align with RetentionRx's target market Draft personalized outreach emails and pitches for review and approval by the CEO, tailoring messaging to each media outlet's format and audience Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records of outreach activity, responses, and follow‑ups using a shared tracking system, helping ensure no opportunities fall through the cracks Assist with light coordination once bookings are confirmed, such as gathering guest talking points or scheduling details Monitor and follow up on outstanding pitches in a timely manner to maximize response rates Listen to or review target podcasts as needed to inform pitch angles and ensure messaging fits each show's tone and format Help identify recurring themes or talking points from secured appearances that could be repurposed for future outreach or content Produce social media content on a weekly basis (graphics, short‑form video, or written posts) highlighting company insights, client outcomes, and industry commentary, aligned with RetentionRx's brand voice Repurpose existing content, such as podcast clips, past posts, or articles, into new formats to extend the reach and shelf life of existing material Stay current on trends within the fitness, wellness, and small business content space to help inform post ideas and formats Support basic performance tracking of published content to help identify what resonates with the audience Assist in maintaining a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and alignment with broader company initiatives Help draft captions, headlines, and messaging that align with RetentionRx's tone and target audience Support ad hoc content needs as they arise, such as materials for podcast appearances or press features Our Ideal Candidate Degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field preferred (or comparable experience). Strong written communication skills and attention to detail Working knowledge of basic design or video editing tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut) preferred Demonstrated ability to manage research and outreach tasks independently Interest in the fitness, wellness, or SaaS business sectors is preferred but not required Our Team We are a small team that moves fast, works hard, and does not take ourselves too seriously.
