Manufacturing Finance Leader

Head of Finance-US - Hybrid role that allows working remote 2 days a weekLocation: Louisville, KY Reports To: Group Finance Director Position Overview The Accounting and Finance Managing Director will be responsible for managing accounting procedures, financial presentation, legal compliance, and basic financial policies and will report to the Group Finance Director situated internationally in Europe. The U.S. headquarters was recently inaugurated in Louisville, KY and is currently expanding. This role is crucial for steering precise and quick month-end closure, overseeing cash flow predictions, aiding in strategic financial scheduling, and ensuring conformity to legislative decrees. The role will have a vital part in providing financial transparency concerning project efficiency, capital outlays, and business performance by partnering with operations, engineering, and top management. Key Responsibilities Financial Close & Reporting: - Head and oversee the monthly close mechanism, guaranteeing precise and prompt financial declaration - Produce and inspect financial records, deferrals, and account reconciliations - Supervise Blackline reconciliations and system data uploads - Generate monthly financial statements and reports with descriptive analysis - Exhibit financial outcomes to management and attend monthly review conferences Forecasting, Cash Flow & FP&A: - Manage the 13-week cash flow projection and continuous liquidity assessment - Facilitate monthly rolling estimates and financial plan updates - Review differences between actuals, estimates, and budgets - Present practical financial insights and suggestions Compliance, Tax & Regulatory Reporting: - Ensure adherence to tax and regulatory standards - Oversee the preparation and submission of returns and documents - Manage interactions with outside consultants and examiners Project & Capital Accounting: - Collaborate with engineering and operations to monitor CAPEX and project budgets - Oversee project expenses and schedules - Supervise asset capitalization procedures Process Improvement & Systems: - Recognize and execute process enhancements - Drive automation and efficiency in financial systems Leadership & Collaboration: - Offer supervision and advice to accounting personnel - Act as a crucial financial partner to operations and top management Qualifications Education & Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - CPA preferred -MBA a plusView phone number on click.appcast.io & View phone number on click.appcast.io?
