We are seeking an enthusiastic and hands-on General Manager to lead a high-volume fast-casual Mediterranean/Middle Eastern restaurant operating in a university dining environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a high-energy leader who enjoys developing teams, driving operational excellence, and managing all aspects of restaurant operations in a fast-paced setting.

The General Manager will oversee a demanding 32-week peak operating season , leading daily operations while building a strong team, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and driving financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead all daily restaurant operations and ensure operational excellence.
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
• Maintain full P&L responsibility, including labor, food cost, inventory, and controllable expenses.
• Drive sales, profitability, and exceptional guest experiences.
• Manage scheduling, purchasing, inventory, and vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company standards.
• Analyze restaurant performance and implement operational improvements.
• Foster a positive, high-performance culture focused on teamwork and accountability.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of progressive restaurant management experience.
• 2+ years managing supervisors, managers, or large hourly teams.
• Experience in high-volume fast-casual, QSR, or campus dining environments preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Experience managing P&L, labor, food cost, and inventory.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to work up to 60 hours per week during the 32-week peak operating season.
