This role is responsible for the overall management of a client’s portfolio once acquired, acting as a primary point of contact for all portfolio management, servicing oversight, servicing transfer, and asset strategy deployed by the company on behalf of a client. The position will oversee multiple servicers, trusts, and strategic portfolio initiatives simultaneously across all asset classes, coordinate servicing transfers, operational reviews, remittance and data reconciliation, render workout decisions, and identify servicing performance irregularities or exceptions. The role also works with the company’s diligence and collateral services teams to define asset‑level strategies and post‑settlement curative efforts, conducts quantitative and qualitative analysis, reviews loan documentation, and ensures compliance with GSE and regulatory guidelines. Regular client collaboration, servicer engagement, and reporting of portfolio performance are expected, along with project management and development of portfolio campaign strategies to meet client objectives. Essential Job Functions Maintain visibility into the status of every deal by ensuring the reviews are performed appropriately in the system. Use Excel to perform VLOOKUP, pivot, and other functions for data reconciliation. Raise potential issues (performance, timeline, etc.) to management attention. Verify that critical exceptions are correctly applied where appropriate. Identify performance trends and opportunities for enhancement to be incorporated into servicer processes or internal system changes. Perform any other activities assigned by your manager. Qualifications / Requirements College degree or training in finance or mortgage banking preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 8+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 2+ years in an AVP‑level role or external equivalent. Mortgage or secondary market experience preferred. Commercial real‑estate asset‑management experience is required. Demonstrated ability to work well with staff clients, if needed. Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills. Team‑oriented, multitasking, and detail‑oriented. Strong written and oral communication skills. Strong analytical ability, good judgment, and strategic thinking. Professional behavior, punctuality, and dependability. Special Requirements Employee may be required to report to a different local office as a normal, contemplated, and mandated incident of employment. Working Conditions Office environment with frequent computer, mouse, and keyboard use. Alternating between sitting or standing as needed. Requiring hearing, talking, reaching, and grasping. Compensation & Benefits The annual full‑time base salary range for this role is $104,000.00 – $140,000.00. Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Certain positions may also be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
