Qualifications:

• Hold an active California Physical Therapist License
• Previous experience in a school-based environment is preferred, though not required
• Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and support staff
• Commitment to supporting students with diverse physical and developmental needs
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized physical therapy plans for students
• Deliver direct therapy services in accordance with each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP)
• Collaborate with educational teams and participate in IEP meetings to support student success
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of evaluations, progress, and service delivery
• Educate students, staff, and families on techniques to support mobility, strength, and independence
• Adapt interventions and strategies to meet the unique needs of each student within the educational environment
