PB Coding Educator

Requirements: Strong surgical coding background required: General Surgery Colorectal Surgery Vascular Surgery ( highly preferred ) Additional experience in Interventional Radiology (IR), Cardiology, and/or Gynecology preferred Experience providing physician education and onboarding Ability to conduct group and one-on-one provider education sessions Experience performing coding reviews and audits Comfortable creating and delivering PowerPoint presentations and training materials Ability to research and interpret coding regulations and compliance requirements Experience auditing coding staff (assigned coders reviewed twice annually) Strong communication and relationship-management skills Ability to work effectively with a wide range of provider personalities Experience serving as a liaison between providers and coding teams Familiarity with: Epic, SelectCoder, Healthicity Candidates must not reside in : CA, CO, CT, DE, HI, IL, MA, MD, ME, MN, NJ, OR, PA, WA, FL, TX, VT, or DC.
