Grande Dunes Ocean Club, located in Myrtle Beach, SC, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time line cook! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

General Purpose: Prepares various food products for restaurant and banquet operations, guest consumption, and enjoyment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepares sufficient quantities of food product in accordance with the production plan or forecast needs
• Utilizes whole food products, eliminating any waste
• Maintains overall cleanliness and sanitation standards in assigned areas
• Alerts the Chef or supervisor to any equipment breakdowns, food overages, or shortages in a timely manner
• Requisitions inventory and receives supplies as necessary for daily production
• Ensures proper storage of food items; wraps, dates, and rotates food items
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance
• Performs other duties as required

Education/Experience: Looking for experienced line cooks, banquet experience is a plus.

Physical Demands: Frequently stands, uses hands, talks, hears, tastes, and smells. Regularly walks and reaches with hands and arms. Occasionally sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls. Regularly lifts up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 100 pounds.

Environment/Noise: Regularly works in extreme heat (non-weather) and near moving mechanical parts. Occasionally works in extreme cold (non-weather), wet or humid conditions (non-weather), near toxic or caustic chemicals, and in outdoor weather. Noise level is moderate.

Certificates/Licenses: Food Safety and Sanitation Training.
