Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist in Oncology to drive demand for BMS medicines in Wisconsin through scientific engagement with healthcare providers. The field-based role focuses on building credibility with physicians and medical groups while ensuring compliant, label-consistent product promotion.
Responsibilities
- Promote BMS oncology product indications across Wisconsin territory to meet sales targets compliantly
- Conduct in-office presentations and scientific discussions with healthcare providers on approved products
- Build and maintain expertise in assigned products and oncology therapeutic area
- Organize external speaker programs and manage logistics with approved speakers
- Collaborate cross-functionally and gather insights to enhance healthcare provider customer experience
Requirements
- Advanced scientific degree or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotechnology sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing experience
- Hematology/Oncology experience required
- Ability to communicate scientific and clinical data accurately to physicians
- Proven account management skills and sales performance track record
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and team mindset
- Experience building and maintaining credibility with key customers
- Demonstrated data-driven analytical and strategic planning capabilities
