Accounting Clerk - Blossom Music Center

Responsibilities Answer general office telephones and provide customer service and office support. Manage accounts receivable: receipt and posting of payments; make bank deposits. Manage accounts payable: match invoices to POS, enter invoices, maintain vendor files. Handle cash deposits during the season. Organize and maintain storage of all financial records. Ensure accounting and operational functions are performed efficiently and in conformance with company SOPs. Assist in processes that produce accurate, timely financial statements. Create daily, weekly, and monthly journal entries. Review receivables and proactively reduce outstanding collections. Perform and review bank, cash, and credit reconciliations and resolve variances. Work with various departments to meet reporting needs. Understand, execute and enforce Sarbanes‑Oxley standards. Provide audit support for all financial and operational activities. Monitor administration of appropriate controls. Assist other departments and perform other assigned duties. Education & Experience Associate’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred). One to three years of accounting experience, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and/or cash management (food service environment preferred). Skills Strong mathematics and accuracy in handling money and making change. Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize. Good communication skills, both oral and written. Fast learner, detail‑oriented, and able to handle deadline pressure. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Record‑keeping and building effective working relationships. Other Information This position is part‑time, seasonal and may require working events, nights, weekends, and holidays.
