We are looking for a detail-oriented Credit Analyst Intermediate to support securities-based lending activities in Westerville, Ohio. This Long-term Contract opportunity is well suited for someone who can evaluate financial information, assess collateral quality, and contribute to timely credit decisions in a fast-paced wealth management environment. The position offers exposure to loan underwriting, documentation review, and portfolio support while working closely with internal partners across the credit lifecycle.
Responsibilities:• Evaluate applicant and client financial information to support underwriting decisions for credit facilities backed by marketable securities.
• Review collateral positions and related account details to help determine loan grading, structure, and pricing considerations.
• Work closely with internal business partners to move credit requests from initial review through approval and ongoing portfolio oversight.
• Analyze data from multiple sources to identify risk factors, confirm completeness, and support preliminary credit assessments.
• Prepare and examine loan documents to ensure accuracy, quality, and alignment with applicable regulatory and policy standards.
• Conduct research on loan-related information and follow up to obtain any missing financial details required for credit analysis.
• Contribute to efficient turnaround times by supporting high-volume, lower-risk credit transactions with careful attention to compliance and client service.• 3-6 years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting, finance, business analysis, or a related field.
• Strong analytical ability with the capacity to interpret financial data and assess credit worthiness.
• Familiarity with financial products such as equities, mutual funds, fixed income instruments, municipal bonds, or derivatives.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to coordinate with stakeholders across multiple functions.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, stay organized, and perform accurately in a high-volume environment.
• Knowledge of loan administration, loan origination, documentation review, or collateral-based lending processes is preferred.
• Internship experience with financial institutions or involvement in finance-related student organizations is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred; candidates at the entry level with strong motivation and relevant exposure may also be considered.
