Job Details A well-established and highly regarded Tysons-based regional business law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate with 2-4 years of civil litigation experience to join its busy and growing employment and business law practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants exposure to sophisticated matters, meaningful client interaction, and a broad range of litigation and counseling work while working in a supportive and collaborative environment. The Opportunity: The attorney will primarily support the firm's employment and business law team and will work on matters involving: Employment defense litigation Restrictive covenant and non-compete litigation Business and commercial litigation Employment counseling Business counseling Related transactional matters Because of the firm's collaborative approach, the associate will also have opportunities to interact with attorneys across other practice areas, including government contracts, intellectual property, and corporate law. The role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated matters while developing strong legal research, writing, litigation, and client-management skills. What We're Looking For: 2-4 years of experience practicing civil litigation Active Virginia Bar membership in good standing Excellent analytical, writing, and oral communication skills Strong legal research and writing abilities Ability to produce timely, high-quality work Ability and willingness to quickly learn new subject matter Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment Judicial clerkship experience is preferred Compensation & Schedule: Base Salary: $125,000-$160,000 Annual Billable Target: 1,600 hours Location: Tysons, Virginia Hybrid Schedule: After the first 90 days, attorneys may work remotely on Tuesdays and Thursdays In-Office: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays Bar: Virginia Benefits: Competitive benefits package Why This Opportunity?
