About the Role Our client is seeking a proactive AI Ethics and Governance Specialist to join their team in Welkom. This position is vital for building a future where AI is developed and used responsibly. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement AI ethics policies, guidelines, and best practices. Conduct ethical risk assessments for AI projects and provide recommendations. Monitor AI systems for bias, fairness, transparency, and accountability. Advise teams on ethical considerations related to data collection, model development, and deployment. Stay current with AI ethics research, regulations, and industry standards. Facilitate training and awareness programs on responsible AI practices. Requirements Degree in Law, Ethics, Computer Science, Policy, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in AI ethics, policy development, or governance, preferably with a focus on technology. Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and their ethical implications. Familiarity with relevant regulations and legal frameworks concerning AI and data privacy.
